The Roar Behind Lionheart:
Meet Coach Jimmy Stevenson

Coach Jimmy Stevenson founded Lionheart Endurance with a conviction that each individual's running journey is unique. The plan to attack audacious goals should come with a shepherd aiding each individual with a tailor-made gameplan. Although Jimmy has been deeply immersed in this sport for nearly 25 years & coaching since 2015, his heart is first for the person, for the man or woman he has the privilege to work with.

Jimmy has coached at every level: Olympic Trials qualifiers, NCAA Division I athletes at Georgetown University and Elon University, NCAA DIII athletes, high school athletes of all abilities, and your average joes that have an equally fierce vigor and craftsmanship than the best there is.

The former NCAA Division I scholarship athlete and school record holder, owns a personal best of 2:23 in the marathon and is currently training to qualify for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon

Coaching Highlights

Collegiately: In just two years at University of Valley Forge, Jimmy built a program from two male and two female athletes to dual team conference champions. The school had never seen a conference champion in any sport before then

Prep: In less than four years at Souderton Area High School, Jimmy led the program to 42 school records across 17 events, 9 State Meet medals, one National Title, and 7 of the top 10 XC times on the home course in school history

Online & Individually: He's helped numerous athletes qualify for the Boston Marathon and Olympic Trials. Jimmy led Connor Mercurio of GO4IT Film in his year-long journey of a complete life transformation from post collegiate washed-up and overweight couch potato to a 35 lbs less, fierce competitor, highly trained and a dialed competitor. In one year he went from 6:18 in the mile to nearly breaking 4:30
